NTPC Group Capacity Hits 90,954 MW with Vanki Wind Project Update

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, has declared the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the first part capacity of 50.4 MW of its Vanki Wind Energy Project in Gujarat. This marks a significant step in expanding the group's renewable energy portfolio. The Vanki Wind Energy Project is part of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a stepdown subsidiary. With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group has reached 90,954 MW, and its commercial capacity stands at 89,874 MW. The NGEL group's commercial capacity now stands at 10,671.40 MW, increasing its total installed capacity to 10,721.80 MW.
