NTPC Group Capacity Rises to 91,221 MW with New Wind Projects

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, has declared commercial operation for two wind energy projects: the fourth part capacity of 6.3 MW of Vanki Wind Energy Project and the first part capacity of 50.4 MW of Jamjodhpur Wind Energy Project. These projects are part of the 500 MW REMCL RTC Project. With these additions, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group has reached 91,221 MW, and its commercial capacity stands at 90,141 MW. The NGEL group's commercial capacity is now 10,920.53 MW, with its total installed capacity increasing to 10,977.23 MW. This development signifies ongoing expansion in NTPC's renewable energy portfolio.
