Power Grid Appoints Amol Babulal Taori as Director (Finance) & CFO

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd announced the appointment of Shri Amol Babulal Taori as Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, effective August 20, 2026. This follows his prior appointment as an Additional Director (Director Finance) on August 18, 2026, approved by the Ministry of Power. Shri Taori, a Chartered Accountant with nearly 30 years of experience, previously served as Executive Director (In-charge) International Trade at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited. His appointment is for a period of five years. Concurrently, Shri Venkata Subrahamanayam Vallurie ceased to be the CFO.
