Sandu Pharma: Balram Viswanathan becomes Chairman & MD; Dr. Kapre joins board

Sandu Pharmaceuticals Ltd announced significant board changes following the demise of Managing Director Shri Umesh B. Sandu. Dr. Neeti Madan Kapre has been appointed as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for a five-year term. Concurrently, Shri Balram Viswanathan has been redesignated from Chairman and Non-Executive Independent Director to Chairman and Managing Director for three years, subject to member approval. The board also approved the reconstitution of key committees including Audit, Nomination and Remuneration, and Stakeholders' Relationship.
