Sonata Software inks 5-year AWS deal for India cloud modernization

Sonata Information Technology Limited (SITL), a domestic arm of Sonata Software, has signed a five-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This partnership aims to accelerate cloud adoption and modernization for enterprises across India. The agreement aligns with Sonata's hyperscaler-led growth strategy and expands its capabilities in the Indian cloud market. Both companies will implement a joint go-to-market strategy focusing on AI and cloud transformation opportunities. Sonata will invest in dedicated AWS-focused sales, presales, technical, and delivery teams, and expand joint efforts across BFSI, retail, manufacturing, IT, and healthcare sectors. The collaboration will leverage AWS programs to support complex cloud transformation initiatives and help clients migrate from legacy systems to modern cloud architectures, focusing on services like Amazon Aurora, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon SageMaker.
