TCS acquires BBY Services India LLP for ₹1 Lakh

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd's Investment Committee approved the acquisition of 100% partnership interest in BBY Services India LLP. BBY India, incorporated in 2023, has approximately 450 employees focused on Engineering, Data & Analytics, and AI capabilities. The acquisition, for a cash consideration of ₹1 Lakh, aims to establish an AI Native Capability Center, enhance AI-led transformation capabilities, and generate incremental revenue opportunities. The transaction is not a related party transaction and is expected to be completed within 3-4 weeks, subject to conditions. BBY India's turnover was NIL in FY 2023-24, ₹48.12 crore in FY 2024-25, and ₹294.53 crore in FY 2025-26.
