TCS to Acquire Best Buy's India Capability Center

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced an agreement to transition Best Buy's Global Capability Center (GCC) in India to TCS. This strategic deal will integrate Best Buy's India capabilities into TCS, forming an AI-centered technology and innovation hub with a focus on retail expertise. The agreement ensures business continuity for the Best Buy India entity while it transforms into an AI-native Capability Center (AICC) under a multi-year contract. TCS will leverage its Global Value & Innovation Centres framework to redesign workflows, develop AI-powered solutions, and scale capabilities. This move aims to accelerate innovation, scale AI solutions, and deliver enhanced business value for Best Buy. The partnership also highlights TCS's end-to-end GCC capabilities, from establishment to transformation into AI-led innovation engines.
