Tata Power Loses Singapore Court Challenge Against Kleros Arbitration Award

Tata Power Company Ltd has announced further developments regarding the arbitration with Kleros Capital Partners Limited. The Singapore International Commercial Court dismissed Tata Power's challenge to arbitral awards dated July 1, 2025, and August 27, 2025. The court found no breach of natural justice or fair hearing rules by the majority arbitrators. Tata Power had also challenged the SIAC Court's decision to reject its challenge to the appointment of two arbitrators. The company has 28 days from August 26, 2026, to appeal the decision to the Singapore Court of Appeal and intends to file an appeal within this period.
