Tata Power Renewables Commissions 190.5 MW FDRE Project in Rajasthan

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has commissioned a 190.5 MW Solar FDRE project in Kalasar, Bikaner, Rajasthan. This project is part of a larger 460 MW FDRE project and includes a 115 MWHr Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to enhance grid reliability. The project faced challenges like compressed timelines and supply chain disruptions but successfully integrated advanced technologies. With this commissioning, TPREL's total renewable utility capacity reaches 12.4 GW, with 6.9 GW operational and 5.5 GW under implementation. This milestone supports India's clean energy transition and Tata Power's Net Zero by 2045 goal.
