Uno Minda Expands into 4W Seating Systems with ₹320 Cr Facility

Uno Minda Limited announced a significant capacity addition by approving the setup of a greenfield manufacturing facility for 4W Passenger Vehicle Seating Systems. The project, with a total cost of ₹320.00 Crores, will be executed through its subsidiary and joint venture, Uno Minda Tachi-S Seating Pvt. Ltd. (UMTS). The company will further invest up to ₹93.00 Crores in UMTS's equity. This expansion aims to cater to business growth and customer demand in the automotive seating segment. The new facility is expected to commence operations in Q4 FY 2027-28 and achieve full capacity by FY 2030-31.
