Uno Minda Invests ₹320 Cr in Seating Systems Expansion

Uno Minda Limited's Investment, Mergers & Acquisitions Committee has approved a greenfield manufacturing facility for 4W Passenger Vehicle Seating Systems with a project cost of ₹320 Crores. This expansion will be executed through its joint venture, Uno Minda Tachi-S Seating Pvt. Ltd. (UMTS). The company will further invest up to ₹93 Crores in UMTS's equity capital. The project aims to meet customer demand and drive business growth, with the new capacity expected to be operational by Q4 FY2027-28 and fully achieved by FY2030-31. The financing will be through equity and term loans.
