VA Tech Wabag Appoints Samaresh Parida as Additional Director

VA Tech Wabag Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Samaresh Parida as an Additional Director in the capacity of Non-Executive Independent Director. The appointment, effective June 26, 2026, is for a period of three years, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 31st Annual General Meeting on August 12, 2026. Mr. Parida brings over 40 years of global experience in strategy, finance, governance, M&A, and business transformation across various sectors including banking, telecom, FMCG, automotive, manufacturing, and technology. He holds qualifications as a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. His prior roles include Independent Director at IDBI Bank Limited and leadership positions at Vodafone Group and PepsiCo.
