Vesuvius India Sells Mehsana Facility for ₹43.25 Cr

Vesuvius India Limited has approved the sale of its Mehsana Facility, engaged in manufacturing crucibles, stoppers, and sleeves for the non-ferrous sector, to Foseco India Limited (FIL) for a lump-sum consideration of INR 43,25,00,000. The transaction, structured as a slump sale, is expected to be completed by December 31, 2026. The Mehsana Facility contributed INR 58.13 Cr (2.8%) to revenue and INR 34.74 Cr (2.09%) to net worth in FY25. This is a related party transaction as both Vesuvius India and FIL are fellow subsidiaries under Vesuvius plc, UK. The transaction has been approved by the Audit Committee and is conducted on an arm's length basis, validated by an independent valuation report.
