Veegaland Developers posted standalone revenue of ₹74.32 Cr for the quarter ended 30 June 2026 (Q1 FY27), up 79.1% YoY from ₹41.50 Cr, with net profit up 202.6% YoY to ₹9.72 Cr from ₹3.21 Cr — a real-estate revenue-recognition-driven print rather than a one-off, as no exceptional items appear in the statement. Sequentially (vs the Mar-26 quarter), growth was far more modest: revenue +5.7% and PAT +5.8%, so the headline YoY surge is the real story and the QoQ move is incidental, not a fresh acceleration.

The margin expansion is the clearer structural signal: net margin rose to 12.86% from 7.65% a year ago (and was roughly flat sequentially at 12.79% in Mar-26). The bridge is on financing and employee costs — finance costs fell to 1.5% of revenue from 4.0% a year ago, and employee expense fell to 3.0% of revenue from 5.1%, both consistent with the balance-sheet strengthening from the FY26 rights issue and bonus allotment (4:1) referenced in the filing's notes, well ahead of the IPO itself. Operating cost and other-expense ratios were broadly stable.

Beyond the headline

What the summary numbers don't show

Single reportable business segment (real estate development, India-only) per Ind AS 108 disclosure

Management issued no press release and set no formal guidance in our records or in a web search, so there is no prior outlook to grade this print against, and no analyst/street estimates were found either — unsurprising, since the company is newly listed (IPO of 1.5 Cr shares at ₹140/share completed after this quarter-end, listing on NSE/BSE on 18 September 2026) and pre-IPO coverage for a small real-estate developer is thin. The quarter's other governance developments — appointment of a compliance officer, adoption of a fair disclosure policy, and Kochouseph Thomas Chittilappilly acquiring a 2.26% stake — are listing-readiness and post-listing-interest items, not operational drivers of this P&L. EPS was ₹2.88 (basic and diluted) on a paid-up capital of ₹33.75 Cr, flat per-share versus the already-enlarged post-bonus share base used in the Mar-26 quarter.

Sequential growth trajectory — QoQ revenue/PAT growth slowed to ~6% this quarter versus the much sharper YoY base-effect gain; confirm whether Q2 FY27 shows renewed acceleration or further normalization

PERIOD MISMATCH FLAG: statement is for quarter ended 30-Jun-2026 (Q1 FY27), unaudited (limited review only) — NOT Q2 FY27 as our records expected. The 'previous quarter' comparison figures in our DB (revenue ₹74.32 Cr, PAT ₹9.72 Cr, EPS ₹2.88) are numerically identical to THIS filing's current-quarter column — this appears to be the same Q1 FY27 result already on record, not a new Q2 FY27 filing. Genuine QoQ below is computed against the PDF's own 31-Mar-26 column instead. No consolidated statement exists (standalone only, single entity). No exceptional items.
