US Court Dismisses Patent Claims Against Hexaware

Hexaware Technologies has received a favorable ruling in its litigation with Natsoft Corporation and Updraft LLC. The United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois dismissed all federal patent-infringement claims, stating the asserted patent claims were abstract and ineligible for patent protection. Consequently, the court also dismissed related state law claims. While the plaintiffs have an opportunity to file an amended complaint, the dismissal of the core patent claims is a significant victory for Hexaware, reinforcing the originality and specificity of its own platforms like Amaze® and Tensai®.
