JSW Energy Acquires 300 MW MCCPL for ₹1,410 Cr

JSW Energy Limited has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% equity shares of Maruti Clean Coal and Power Limited (MCCPL) for an enterprise value of Rs. 1,410 crores. MCCPL owns and operates a 300 MW thermal power project in Chhattisgarh. This acquisition, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to support JSW Energy's growth strategy and its target of reaching 30 GW capacity by FY 2030. MCCPL reported revenues of Rs. 787 crores in FY 2025-26. Upon completion, MCCPL will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Energy.
