
KOEL Acquires 49% Stake in US Subsidiary Wildcat Power Gen
Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd (KOEL) announced that its Board of Directors has approved the acquisition of the remaining 49% stake in Engines LPG, LLC dba Wildcat Power Gen, USA, a step-down subsidiary. The acquisition is being made by Kirloskar Americas Corporation (KAC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of KOEL, for a consideration of USD 31 per unit. This transaction will make Wildcat Power Gen a wholly-owned subsidiary of KAC and a step-down subsidiary of KOEL. The acquisition aims to consolidate 100% ownership, enabling swift strategic decision-making, streamlined governance, and seamless integration of R&D, technology, and global supply chains. It also provides operational flexibility to scale North American expansion. The total income of Wildcat Power Gen for FY25-26 was USD 4.71 million (INR 44.9 Crore). The acquisition is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026.
