KOEL Subsidiary Acquires 49% Stake in Wildcat Power Gen for USD 0.15 Mn

Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd (KOEL) announced through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kirloskar Americas Corporation (KAC), the acquisition of the remaining 49% stake in Engines LPG, LLC dba Wildcat Power Gen, USA. The transaction, valued at USD 0.15 million (approximately ₹1.43 crore), was completed on August 6, 2026 (US time). This acquisition consolidates KAC's ownership to 100% in Wildcat Power Gen, a US-based genset OEM. The move aims to streamline strategic decision-making, enhance R&D integration, and facilitate direct scaling of North American operations. Wildcat Power Gen reported a total income of USD 4.71 million (INR 44.9 Crore) for FY25-26. The acquisition was conducted on an arm's length basis.
