ONGC: Sunil Kumar Appointed Chairman

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has announced the approval of Shri Sunil Kumar's appointment as the Chairman of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has sanctioned his appointment effective from the date of assumption of charge, which is on or after December 7, 2026. His tenure will extend until his superannuation on December 31, 2028, followed by a contract period, resulting in a combined tenure of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. This appointment is a significant management change for the company.
