Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has received the "Consent to Operate" from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board for an enhanced capacity of its Steel Melting Shop (SMS). The capacity has been increased from 5,25,000 MTPA to 5,75,000 MTPA at its plant in Siltara Industrial Area, Raipur. This expansion will allow for 100% captive consumption of the sponge iron manufactured, leading to value addition and improved operating margins. The plant with the higher capacity has commenced operations immediately.

Godawari Power and Ispat Limited has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Godawari Energy Solutions Private Limited (GESPL), on October 17, 2026. GESPL will focus on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) activities, turnkey projects, and operations related to Battery Energy Storage Systems, renewable energy, power, and electrical infrastructure. The initial contribution to GESPL is Rs. 1,00,000, with Godawari Power and Ispat Limited holding 100% shareholding.

Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has divested an additional 3,35,100 equity shares of Jammu Pigments Limited (JPL), representing a consideration of ₹10.00 Crores. This transaction is part of a larger partial divestment of 16,75,000 equity shares initially approved by the board. Following this second tranche of transfer, GPIL's shareholding in JPL has reduced from 39.99% to 38.27%. The shares were transferred at a fair value of ₹298.45 per share, with the total divestment expected to aggregate ₹49.99 Crores.

Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd has allotted 2,72,000 equity shares of Re 1/- each at a premium of Rs. 244/- per share, totaling Rs. 4,99,80,000/-, consequent to the conversion of warrants by Shree Nakoda Pipe Impex Private Limited. This conversion represents 75% of the issue price paid for the warrants. The allotment increases the company's issued and paid-up capital. The new shares rank pari passu with existing equity shares but are subject to lock-in provisions as per SEBI regulations.

Godawari New Energy Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL), has received a fresh environment clearance from the State Expert Appraisal Committee-3 (SEAC-3), Maharashtra. The clearance is for the construction of an industrial building to set up a 20 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at AURIC, Bidkin Industrial Area, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. This development is a significant step towards establishing GPIL's presence in the renewable energy storage sector.

Godawari Power and Ispat Limited (GPIL) announced that its Board of Directors approved the incorporation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary, "Godawari Energy Solutions Private Limited" (GESPL), on October 1, 2026. The new entity, to be based in Maharashtra, India, will focus on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), turnkey, and operation and maintenance activities for Battery Energy Storage Systems, renewable energy, power, electrical, and allied infrastructure projects. GPIL will be the sole subscriber, investing an initial cash consideration of ₹10.00 Lakhs (1.00 Lakh equity shares of ₹10 each at par value), securing 100% shareholding and control.

Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has made a further investment of ₹50 crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Godawari New Energy Private Limited (GNEPL). This investment involves acquiring 5,00,00,000 0.1% Non-Cumulative Participating Optionally Convertible Redeemable Preference Shares of ₹10 each at par, on a Rights Basis. The funds will be utilized by GNEPL for capital expenditure and working capital requirements to establish a Battery Energy Storage System Plant. GNEPL, incorporated on June 25, 2025, is in the process of setting up its business in the energy sector, specifically Battery Energy Storage Systems. The allotment of shares was completed on September 28, 2026.

Godawari Power and Ispat Limited has received an offer letter from Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) for an industrial plot of approximately 31.45 acres at AURIC Bidkin Industrial Area, District Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The land is intended for setting up a CRM Project. The offer letter was dated September 22, 2026, and received by the company on September 24, 2026.
